WELCOME TO THE FAMILY... MONIQUE HANAYIK

 

We would like to officially welcome Monique Hanayik to the Capital Women's Soccer Family!  Monique is a striker who comes to us from Sydney, Ohio and Sydney High School where she scored 43 goals while being coached by Stacey Goffena.  She also plays her club soccer for the Ohio Blitz team coached by Jeremy Lorenzo and formerly played for FCT Storm under Jim Diederich.
 
Monique competed in high school soccer for three years and enjoyed tremendous athletic success including leading her team to a pair of GWOC Championships and a host of individual awards listed below!




In the 2010 – 2011 SHS season she earned:
  •  Greater Western Ohio Athletic Conference Championship and was ranked 6th by the MVSSCA
  •  12-5-0 record
In the 2011 – 2012 SHS season she earned:
  • Greater Western Ohio Athletic Conference Championship and was ranked 6th by the MVSSCA
  • 2nd Team All-GWOC North honors
  • 2nd Team All-Miami Valley honors
  • Sydney HS Offensive MVP
  • 12-5-2 record

In the 2012 – 2013 SHS season she earned:
  •  GWOC Conference Finalist and ranked 6th by the MVSSCA
  •  3rd in the conference in scoring with 51 points on the year
  •  1st Team All-GWOC North honors
  •  1st Team All-Miami Valley honors
  •  Miami Valley All-Star Game Participant
  •  Sydney HS Offensive MVP
  •  Sydney HS Team Captain
  •  12-5-0 record

Banquet Time!

 
The 2012-2013 year officially ended for the Capital Women's Soccer program this past Sunday when they had their Banquet / Reception at the Jeffrey Mansion in Bexley.  The afternoon consisted of a slide show of the "Funny Faces of Capital Soccer", a great food selection provided by Parkhurst Dining, the recognition of the Jenkins Family Award, the honoring of the Senior Class and the reveal of the highlight video! 

Congratulations go out to Dani Irwin, the Jenkins Family Award winner and all four of our seniors for their contributions to the program (Alexa Bosanac, Dani Irwin, Kate Connell & Natalie Fiorelli)

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY... KYLIE TRITT



We would like to officially welcome Kylie Tritt to the Capital Women's Soccer Family!  Kylie is a 4 year letter winner as a Defender/Midfielder who comes to us from Mayfield, Ohio and Mayfield High School where she was being coached by Matt Lubin.  She also plays her club soccer for the Cleveland Cobras Soccer team coached by Sean MacNamara
 
Kylie competed in high school soccer for four years and enjoyed tremendous athletic success including leading her team to a pair of Northeast Ohio Conference Championships and a host of individual awards listed below!

 
In the 2009 – 2010 MHS season she earned:
·       Mayfield HS Defensive Player of the Year honors
·       All-Cleveland honors
·    All-Northeast Conference honors

In the 2010 – 2011 MHS season she earned:
  •  All-Northeast Conference honors
In the 2011 – 2012 MHS season she earned:
  • Cleveland Plains-Dealer Player of the Week honors
  • Cleveland News Herald Player of the Week honors

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY... BECCA CARTMILL


 
We would like to officially welcome Becca Cartmill to the Capital Women's Soccer Family!  Becca is a striker who comes to us from Temecula, California and Temecula Valley High School where she was coached by Amber Young.  She also plays her club soccer for the Arsenal FC ECNL team out of Southern California coached by Marc Riley

Although only competing in high school soccer for two years Becca enjoyed tremendous athletic success including leading her team to the CIF soccer Tournament and a host of individual awards listed below!
 
 
 
 
In the TVHS 2011-2012 season she earned:

*  1st team All Valley
*  TVHS Coach's award
*  Southwestern League Champion
*  18-5-1 Record

 In the TVHS 2012-2013 season she earned:

SNOW DAY!

Even in college kids get excited for snow days!  However, coaches are not excited about losing a day of training to the weather!  Oh well.... Capital is really pretty in the snow!
