WELCOME TO THE FAMILY... JENNA ZUBERI


 
We would like to officially welcome Jenna Zuberi to the Capital Women's Soccer Family!  Jenna is a 4 year letter winner as a Midfielder who comes to us from Canal Winchester, Ohio and Canal Winchester High School where she was being coached by Jimmy Stevens.  She also plays her club soccer for the Freedom Soccer Club coached by Capital Assistant coach Ian Pena.

Jenna competed in high school soccer for four years and enjoyed tremendous athletic success including leading her team to a pair of Northeast Ohio Conference Championships and a host of individual awards listed below!
 
 
 
 
 

In the 2009 high school season she earned:
* Mid State League runner-ups
* 3rd team All-League Mid-State League

In the 2010 high school season she earned:
* Mid State League Champions
* 3rd team All-League Mid-State League

In the 2011 high school season she earned:
* Mid State League Champions
* 2nd team All Mid-State League

In the 2012 high school season she earned:
* Mid State League runner-ups
* 1st team All Mid-State League
* Named member of the All-star team

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY... MARISA COTSMIRE


 
We would like to officially welcome Marisa Cotsmire to the Capital Women's Soccer Family! Marisa is a Goalkeeper who comes to us from Canton, Ohio and Hoover High School where she was coached by Nick Plazak and Brian Girdlestone. She also played her club soccer for the Pennine Soccer Club but will be finishing her youth soccer career this spring with Canton United.
As a four year letter winner in high school soccer Marisa enjoyed tremendous athletic success including breaking several school records for the women’s soccer program at Hoover!

  • 2nd team All Federal League
  • 2nd team All Stark County
  • Tied the school record for shutouts
  • Broke school record for average goals allowed per game

WELCOME TO THE FAMILY... MELISSA SPURBECK


We would like to officially welcome Melissa Spurbeck to the Capital Women's Soccer Family!  Melissa is a 4 year letter winner as a Defender who comes to us from Pataskala, Ohio and Watkins Memorial High School where she was coached by Alex Stout.  She also plays her club soccer for the Freedom Soccer Club coached by Capital Assistant Ian Pena.

Melissa competed in high school soccer for four years and enjoyed tremendous athletic success including leading her team as a four year letter winner and earning a host of individual awards listed below!

In the 2010 – 2011 WMHS season she earned:
  •  All-OCC Special Mention honors
In the 2011 – 2012 WMHS season she earned:
