Senior goalkeeper Maggie Donnellan, of the Capital University women's soccer team, has earned Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week honors.
Donnellan, a two-time OAC Goalkeeper of the Year, earned Player of the Week after back-to-back 2-0 shutout victories by the Crusaders over Kenyon this past Wednesday, and conference opponent John Carroll this past Saturday.
In those two matches, Donnellan started both games, posting a 0.00 goals against average, while saving 13 shots for a 1.000 save percentage.
She also improved to 8-2-1 as a starter this season, while helping lock down the net, extending the Crusaders' shutout streak to three with five of their last six matches having ended in shutout victories.
On the season, Donnellan has started all 11 games in net for the Crusaders, en route to recording 52 saves with a 0.83 goals against average and .852 save percentage so far this season.
