Kaitlyn comes to us via Akron, Ohio and has enjoyed a very successful career at the high school level (Walsh Jesuit HS) as well as at the club level (Internationals ECNL).
A few of Kaitlyn's high school accomplishments include: Four (4) year varsity soccer letter winner at Walsh Jesuit, three (3) 2010, 2012 & 2013 Ohio High School Athletic Association State Championships and one (1) NSCAA High School National Championship in 2010. Individually Kaitlyn was named the 2013 Defensive MVP at Walsh Jesuit, All-North Coast League 1st Team and Akron Beacon Journal's Player of the Week. Academically Kaitlyn also enjoyed a number of athletically related awards being named both GASSCA Senior All Star and NSCAA Academic All American, as well as, earning membership in the National Honor Society and First Honors at Walsh Jesuit all four years.
In terms of her club accomplishments Kaitlyn and her Internationals ECNL teammates qualified for the 2012 ECNL Champions League, 2012 US Youth Soccer Region II Championships and were the 2012 US Club Soccer Super Cup National Champions. This Spring Kaitlyn is playing with the Cleveland Futbol Club.
According to Coach Kouns "We are very excited that Kaitlyn decided to join our family and can not wait for her to arrive on campus in August. Her pedigree and work rate as a center back will not only make us a better defending team in the fall but for many years to come."
