CAP WSOC NIGHT WITH THE CREW!!!

2013 NCAA DIVISION III NATIONAL SEMI-FINALIST FINISH!

Welcome to the Family... Chloe Brown


Chloe comes to us via Monclova, Ohio, and has enjoyed a very successful career at the high school level (Anthony Wayne HS) as well as at the club level (Pacesetter SC ).

A few of Chloe's high school accomplishments include: Four (4) year varsity soccer letter winner and senior captain for Coach Lori Williams.  Chloe helped lead the Lady Generals to a 2013 Northern Lakes League (NLL) Championship, back-to-back District Championships in 2012 & 2013, Regional Semi-Finals in 2012 and she scored the goal to send Anthony Wayne to the Regional Final in 2013.  You can check out video of Chloe's game winning goal via BCSN news at:  http://social.newsinc.com/media/json/69017/25308329/singleVideoOG.html?type=VideoPlayer%2F16x9&videoId=25308329#

Individually Chloe was earned 2013 All Northern Lakes League honors, as well as, 2013 All-District honors.  In conjunction with her academic success she was earned the 2013 Student-Athlete Academic Excellence Award from the NLL, the NW Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association (NWOSSCA) and the Senior Excellence Award from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. 

In terms of her club accomplishments Chloe is currently playing for the Pacesetter Soccer Club.  Chloe's Pacesetter team were the 2012 Ohio-North State Cup Finalist and are currently ranked #3 in OH-N. 

According to Coach Kouns "We are very excited that Chloe decided to join our family and can not wait for her to arrive on campus in August. Chloe offers us tremendous leadership as a defender, or defensive midfielder, and her intelligence as a soccer player will reap great rewards this fall."

Welcome to the Family... MacKenzie Ciganick


MacKenzie comes to us via Bellaire, Michigan, and enjoyed a very successful career with her Bellaire High School Boys Soccer teammates.

As a four year letter winner for Bellaire High School Boys Soccer MacKenzie's high school accomplishments include being a 2013 Michigan High School Boys Soccer State Semi-Finalist with a 24-2 record, as well as, achieving both MHSSA Division 4 Regional and District 64 Championships.  Mackenzie also helped lead Bellaire to a perfect 10-0 record as 2013 Northern Michigan Soccer League (NMSL) Boys Soccer Champions, a 2012 NMSL Championship and three Team Academic All State selections.


In addition to her successful soccer career MacKenzie also enjoyed a tremendous career as a two time captain for the Bellaire Girls Track team.  The 2013 Track MVP earned All County, All Ski Valley Conference, and All Division 4 Region honors.  MacKenzie qualified in both 2013 & 2012 for the MHSSA state track meet in the 300 meter hurdles, the 800 meter relays and 1600 meter relays.  As a result of her tremendous athletic and academic career MacKenzie was named as the Michigan High School Athletic Association Scholar Athlete Award Winner!

According to Coach Kouns "We are very excited that MacKenzie decided to join our family and are looking forward to her to her arrival on campus in August.  MacKenzie brings with her a level of competitiveness and a toughness, from her career playing with boys, that will no doubt permeate the entire program and make it tough for opposing defenses to deal with!"

Welcome to the Family... Caroline Hester

 
Caroline comes to us via Milford, Ohio, and has enjoyed a very successful career at the high school level (Milford HS) as well as at the club level (Cincinnati United Premier Gold ).

A few of Caroline's high school accomplishments include: Two (2) year varsity soccer letter winner at Milford, 2012 & 2013 Eastern Cincinnati Conference Soccer Championships and finishing as the #10 ranked team in Ohio. Individually Caroline was earned Academic All-ECC Conference honors in 2012 and 2013.  She was also named All-Southwest Ohio and All-Ohio in addition to serving as both the Junior Class and Senior Class President at Milford HS. 

In terms of her club accomplishments Caroline is currently playing for the U18 Cincinnati United Premier Gold team where she is also a teammate of fellow in-coming student-athlete Kiley Buchanan.   Just a few of their recent accomplishments have been:  2013 Adidas Blue Chip Showcase Champions, 2013 Crossroads of America Quarter-finalist, as well as, 2011 & 2013 Ohio-South State Cup Semi-Finalist.  This past year CUP Gold was also ranked the #4 team in Ohio-South.

According to Coach Kouns "We are very excited that Caroline decided to join our family and can not wait for her to arrive on campus in August. She offers us the opportunity to strengthen both our defense, and our midfield, making us a much more flexible unit moving forward for the fall!"

Welcome to the Family... Kaitlyn Semelsberger



Kaitlyn comes to us via Akron, Ohio and has enjoyed a very successful career at the high school level (Walsh Jesuit HS) as well as at the club level (Internationals ECNL).

A few of Kaitlyn's high school accomplishments include: Four (4) year varsity soccer letter winner at Walsh Jesuit, three (3) 2010, 2012 & 2013 Ohio High School Athletic Association State Championships and one (1) NSCAA High School National Championship in 2010. Individually Kaitlyn was named the 2013 Defensive MVP at Walsh Jesuit, All-North Coast League 1st Team and Akron Beacon Journal's Player of the Week.  Academically Kaitlyn also enjoyed a number of athletically related awards being named both GASSCA Senior All Star and NSCAA Academic All American, as well as, earning membership in the National Honor Society and First Honors at Walsh Jesuit all four years.

In terms of her club accomplishments Kaitlyn and her Internationals ECNL teammates qualified for the 2012 ECNL Champions League, 2012 US Youth Soccer Region II Championships and were the 2012 US Club Soccer Super Cup National Champions.  This Spring Kaitlyn is playing with the Cleveland Futbol Club. 

According to Coach Kouns "We are very excited that Kaitlyn decided to join our family and can not wait for her to arrive on campus in August. Her pedigree and work rate as a center back will not only make us a better defending team in the fall but for many years to come."

Welcome to the Family... Kiley Buchanan



Kiley comes to us via Milford, Ohio, and has enjoyed a very successful career at the high school level (Milford HS) as well as at the club level (CSA & Cincinnati United Premier ).

A few of Kiley's high school accomplishments include: Three (3) year varsity soccer letter winner at Milford, 2011 & 2013 Eastern Cincinnati Conference Soccer Championships and finishing as the 2011 Ohio Southwest Regional Finalist . Individually Kiley was earned All-Conference honors in 2011 and 2013 but suffered an ACL tear in 2012.  Returning from her knee injury for the 2013 season Kiley was named Milford High School team captain and finished her high school career at Milford leading them to a 46-15-14 overall record.

In terms of her club accomplishments Kiley is currently playing for the U18 Cincinnati United Premier Gold team where she is also a teammate of fellow in-coming student-athlete Caroline Hester. 

According to Coach Kouns "We are very excited that Kiley decided to join our family and can not wait for her to arrive on campus in August. Although we liked what we knew about her prior to our summer ID camp last year we came out of camp convinced that Kiley will help bolster our attacking threat in the coming year."
